Scentsore is a community platform that helps people better understand shared air through community-contributed observations and experiences at publicly accessible locations.

By making shared air more visible, the platform aims to increase awareness, support informed choice, and strengthen personal agency.

Information provided through Scentsore is intended for informational purposes only.

Observations, acknowledgements, and reports submitted through Scentsore represent the experiences and perspectives of the individuals who submit them.

Reports and acknowledgements should not be interpreted as statements of fact about a location, business, organisation, or individual.

Scentsore does not endorse, verify, or guarantee individual observations submitted by users.

Conditions can change over time, and experiences may vary between people.

Scentsore does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-submitted content.

Users agree to:

• Submit observations honestly and in good faith.
• Share information based on their own experiences.
• Respect other users, businesses, organisations, and locations.
• Use the platform lawfully.

Users must not:

• Knowingly submit false or misleading information.
• Harass, abuse, target, or defame individuals, organisations, or businesses.
• Attempt to manipulate reports or platform data.
• Use Scentsore for unlawful purposes.

Scentsore may remove content, suspend accounts, or restrict access where content or behaviour is believed to:

• Breach these Terms of Service.
• Misuse the platform.
• Harm the community.
• Create legal or operational risk.

Moderation decisions are made at Scentsore's discretion.

The Scentsore platform, including its name, branding, logos, design elements, software, visualisations, and underlying content, remains the property of Scentsore unless otherwise stated.

These Terms do not grant users any ownership rights in the platform or its intellectual property.

By submitting content to Scentsore, users grant Scentsore permission to store, display, process, analyse, and present that content as part of the operation of the platform.

This includes the use of submitted content in maps, visualisations, pattern identification, and other platform features.

Scentsore provides community-contributed information only.

Scentsore does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, legal advice, environmental certification, or guarantees regarding environmental conditions.

Users remain responsible for making their own decisions based on the information available to them.

Scentsore is an evolving platform. Features, functionality, availability, and the presentation of information may change over time as the platform develops.

While Scentsore aims to provide ongoing access to the service, availability is not guaranteed. The platform may experience interruptions, outages, errors, delays, maintenance periods, or temporary suspension.

Scentsore reserves the right to modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

Users should not rely on Scentsore being continuously available or on any feature remaining unchanged.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scentsore is not responsible for decisions, actions, losses, damages, disruptions or outcomes arising from reliance on information available through the platform.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes arising from or relating to the use of Scentsore will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
